The Imperial Medicals Annual Rugby Club Dinner.
The event to be at in the medical school social calender, the Imperial Medicals Rugby Club Dinner is always a classy and intimate affair. This year the dinner is to be held at the RAC on the 17th of May. On this occasion, we have the pleasure of Mr Roger Uttley O.B.E. a former England Captain and British Lion, as our guest speaker.
Mr Utley won 23 Caps and captained England on 5 occasions and won 4 Test Caps for the Brithish Lions on their undefeated tour in 1974. He is now Head of Sport at Harrow School.
Speeches from the President of the Club, Professor Sinnet, and Club Captain, Ruiridh Crawford will follow, along with the presentation of the Cokburn Rugby Scholarship, the Ian Kenyon Award and other club awards.
A drinks reception will precede dinner and the bar will remain open until 11pm as well as a post dinner venue which will be arranged close by.
Ticket prices are to be sold as double tickets (apart from consultant tickets) although single tickets may be purchased on special request. Tickets are priced as follows: Student Couple £110: Junior Doctor Couple £130: Registrar Couple £140: Consultant £80 per person.
