35 boys, bristol and a trip of a lifetime.....
This year's School's Tour took 35 of us to Bristol, the crown of the South West. Despite being internationally renowned as a city of culture, with its georgian architecture, suspension bridge, and docks, School's tour introduced Imperial Medicals to other, less obvious aspects. During our time there we found that blue lagoon makes for a perfect breakfast drink, laser quest isn't only for children, and that freshers need to be tagged in order to stop them wondering off to find the hostel/home/muggers. Our two nights out demonstrated the quality of the talent at Bristol University, but if this wasn't enough, the thought of my sister being out got some members so excited that they mistook innocent bystanders for Miss Stoddart. Lizard Lounge on the second night was fueled by both vindaloo and exhibition cider, and the following morning confirmed the reasoning behind the name "Green Shit". Despite losing 3 freshers, we all finally, despite Joe Pick's attempts to keep us in Bristol by fighting with our coach driver, arrived back in Hammersmith with memories and stories of a successful tour. Cheers gents for a roughly enjoyable three days!
